This lampholder accepts 3 pin BC J-slot cap low energy lamps and is a direct replacement for standard 2 pin bayonet cap and edison screw cap batten lampholders. Available in standard or angled batten style.

Low energy lamps such as these use approximately one fifth of the energy used by a standard GLS tungsten filament light bulb to produce the same amount of light. This means that the consumer pays less for electricity to light their home or workplace, and that less electricity has to be generated thereby reducing the harmful polluting effects of electricity generation on the environment.

The cost and effort of replacing or adapting your light fittings is minimal. It is also good safety practice to replace lampholders and other light fittings from time to time.
